“The environmentally friendly technology developed by Tsunami REACH to construct homes provides an opportunity to apply best practices to the tsunami reconstruction efforts. Especially to provide homes quickly, efficiently and safely to the over 300,000 displaced people who lost their homes to the tsunami” states the President of the Sri Lanka Wildlife Conservation Society.
The President of Habitat For Humanity Sri Lanka (HFHSL) commented, “HFHSL needs your assistance in supporting our reconstruction efforts by financially supporting Tsunami REACH’s Program. As you may have recently heard very few options to solve the Tsunami housing crisis have been presented to date since the passing of the one year anniversary.”
Tsunami REACH acknowledge the generosity of those US Corporations that made contributions back in 2004 & 2005. Unfortunantely, the reconstruction effort still requires additional support as only 10% of the homes have been rebuilt!
