Tsunami REACH's Mission:
Tsunami REACH's primary mission is to assist in returning the Sri Lankan people victimized by the December 26th Tsunami back to safe, decent and affordable housing by providing environmentally friendly building technology, training and general support to the various Non-Government and Charity Based Organizations (NGO & CBO) responsible for the reconstruction.
The name, Reconstruction Efforts Aiding Communities without Homes (REACH), reflects this mission.
Tsunami REACH's Pledge:
To provide alternative building solutions to NGO's & CBO's and train local citizens in advanced building technology and manufacturing process.
To rebuild low-cost houses including homes, medical clinics, nurseries and schools.
To recommit all profits, from the sale of any components, back to the operation so that more homes can be produced and/or lower the cost.
